I come to you today with a heavy heart, but also with a strong desire to help a family in need. The Martinez family, whom I have come to know and love, is in dire need of our assistance. Their two oldest children were taken away from them and placed in foster care due to their living conditions, and they have been fighting tirelessly to get their kids back.
The family has been living in a school bus since 2020 because they have no other option. Their living conditions are below standard, and it breaks my heart to see them struggle like this. Brother Adam has tried to build a home, but he lacks the funds and the manpower to do so. As of February 2023, the case against them has been closed, and we are hopeful that the children will be returned to their parents, but their living conditions must be greatly improved for that to happen.
This is where we can make a difference. All the funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will go towards building a home for the family, and also towards providing them with a much-needed source of transportation. The family-owned an old Toyota Camry which recently broke down, leaving them without a car in the countryside where they live.
Can you imagine having your children taken away from you because of the living conditions you are in? It is a terrible and helpless feeling, one that no parent should ever have to experience. But we can help change that. We can help bring those kids back to their parents by providing them with a safe and comfortable home.
