Dave is an amazing guy with an amazing wife named Kim. He is also known as Delvis_TCB as his nickname on Paltalk where he likes to sing and has been a member of for many years. He was bit by a brown recluse spider back in September. From there things spiraled downhill.
He tried to take care of the bite himself not knowing what it was. His leg started showing signs of infection and he started seeing Dr’s. They were treating it with antibiotics for a few months, but only got worse. Finally he was taken to the ER pretty bad and they found no circulation in either leg from the waste down. He had to have surgery and it was extensive.
He still has 3 more surgeries to go, he can barely walk and was told he may loose his lower left leg if it does not heal properly and will probably never be able to drive a semi truck again which is what he’s done almost his entire career. They are on the verge of losing their home and all utilities are due. They have not had any income in over 2 months. The hospital bills are so high and they do not know what they are going to do since there insurance wont cover everything.
Kim is his fulltime care giver at this time, so she cannot work. Anything at this point will help. They are good genuine people. Thank you for taking time to read their story and for helping my friends save there sanity and their home!!
