Dear friends and fellow supporters, I am writing to you today with a heavy heart, but also with a glimmer of hope. As a father of two disabled children, I am constantly seeking ways to provide them with the best possible life experiences. Unfortunately, due to their disabilities, this can be a challenging and expensive task.
As we approach summer, I am eager to renovate our garden into a safe and fun environment where my children can play without any danger. My 5-year-old daughter, who has autism, still has no sense of danger and needs constant supervision. Therefore, I am planning to remove the shingle relay grass and replace it with AstroTurf, which will provide a safer surface for her to play on.
Additionally, I want to install sensory equipment that will stimulate and engage my children’s senses, which will help them learn, grow, and enjoy their time outside. However, this is a costly project, and I cannot do it alone.
Moreover, I also plan to renovate our spare room into a soothing and calm sensory room, where my children can retreat when they feel overwhelmed. This room will be specially designed to meet their sensory needs and will be a safe space for them to relax and play.
I am humbly asking for your help and support to make this possible. No matter how small or big, every donation will make a difference in the lives of my children. Your support will not only improve their quality of life, but it will also give me hope and strength to keep fighting for them.
Please donate whatever you can and share this campaign with your friends and family. Please support the GoFundMe at https://www.gofundme.com/f/renovate-garden-and-inhouse
Your kindness and generosity will go a long way in helping us create the best possible environment for our children.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your support. May God bless you and your loved ones.
With love and gratitude,
Haydn
