This is to help my friend with her self-defense fund. She has been a victim of Criminal Domestic Violence for the past two years. When he was coming after with a baseball bat, missed her head and dented the fridge, and came back for more, she had to defend herself in the most ultimate way.
Now she is being treated as the suspect and not the victim. She has depleted all her savings, borrowed money from her father, and is still approximately $60,000.00 behind in fees.
Along with this, DSS has threatened to take away her 15 year old son. She is being followed wherever she goes.
In this country, we are supposed to be Innocent Until Proven Guilty, NOT Guilty until proven Innocent.
I am doing this because she is alone in this. No moral, emotional or financial support from those who have “promised” to be there.
This woman is a good, kind-hearted person. A good mother. And one that I am PROUD to call FRIEND.
