Hi Everyone, this is little Winnie. She is a 2 year old Flame Point Siamese mix that I found abandoned in a ditch when she was just 4 weeks old. She always had a little limp, but the vets could never seem to find anything wrong with her. About 2 months ago, she fell off my very tall dresser and landed on her ‘bad’ foot and began walking around holding her paw up. I immediate took her to the vet who originally thought that she had just sprained her shoulder, but after long and expensive tests and x-rays, it showed that she actually has a fracture to her ‘wrist’ that healed incorrectly which is causing her much pain. Based on the x-rays the vet believes that she did this before I found her when she was only 4 weeks old, and has just been living with the pain. It’s an ‘easy’ fix, but the surgery is, as any fur baby owner knows, expensive. With surgery and after care, it’s estimated to cost about $6,500, which doesn’t include the several thousand I’ve already paid to just diagnose. Ouch! I’m reaching out to anyone for some assistance with this. She’s the sweetest little kitty and loves to cuddle and play. Your help would be appreciated!Thank you for considering!
