I’m running this fundraising campaign to create a permanent water supply and also a greenhouse for the growing of vegetables for the families in the region of Sandugan, Siquijor Island, Philippines.

Siquijor Island is a class 4 economy and the area around Sandugan is a class 5, meaning the wage for working up to 12hours is around $3Us a day when there is work available. 95% of the island’s residents belong to the Catholic Church so religion is a big part of their lives. I have personally know some of the people from the community for just on 4yrs and have been visiting Sandugan for nearly 2yrs now and as with most Filipinos they are always happy, never complaining and always ready for a song or a dance.
This does mean a lot to me so how about I / you / us help to enrich these people’s lives with some basic needs which we take for granted in the west…
