My name is Kris Smilko & I’m a pastor in Sedan, KS. I will be going to Uganda, Africa in May 2017. I work with Jesus Wept International Ministry based out of Millington, TN & owns God’s Garden in Jinja, Uganda.
2 years ago was the first time that I went to Uganda with Bob Ries (Founder of JWI). He took me to this little school & introduced me to the head teacher. Last year prior to going I felt God telling me to help & work with this school. Through donations, we were able to present to the schools head master, 2 iPad 2’s. What a blessing!! This year I have already collected 2 iPad 2’s & the money to purchase them a wireless modem. This GoFundMe is to get the word out to everyone, that I’m looking for others to donate the $$$ to pay for data for the schools modem for a year & to help update the school with solar panels for lights. I’m also asking that if you have any New or used iPads, tablets or laptops that you would like to donate for the school, we’ll accept them all!
I will be presenting everything that I receive to the schools head master & head teacher when I go. We’ll spend about half a day helping them set up everything to make sure it’s working before we leave.
