My dad was healthy my entire 43 years, and three weeks ago he went in for a colonoscopy. After the colonoscopy he was immediately transferred to the hospital.
The next day he was diagnosed with stage for metastasized colon cancer that has spread to his liver, lungs, intestine, and bones. I have been given time off from work, but it was without pay.
My dad is extremely weak and fragile, and I am scared that he is given up the will to fight.
The Dr and my mom talked him into starting chemotherapy two Fridays ago, but he is having to have fluid drained from around his lungs once a week. They drained two liters of cancerous fluid from around each of his lungs.
I am not one that like to ask for help with money, but I want to spend as much time as I can with him.
