I am raising funds to help a group of families go through winter in Farah, Afghanistan. These families live in tents and they do not have any winter supplies. These families have left their towns due to war. The donors will get tax deductible as we’re registered as a 501c(3) organization in the U.S.

This fundraising is focused to help a group of much needed families go through winter. The temperature in Farah varies, yet it can get as cold as (-4/-13 F) in the winter. In the summer, it can easily get to 113 F.
Farah is one the most distant and troubled provinces in South-west of Afghanistan. Many citizens of this beautiful, yet damaged province have been experiencing extreme poverty for decades. Living in this area of the world has gotten harder due to continuous war. People have lost their loved ones to airstrikes and have been displaced from their towns – living in such harsh conditions hoping for peace to visit them soon.
Unlike many other countries, women in Afghanistan are extremely dependent on their males. If anything happens to the man of the family, the entire family will struggle to survive. There is no life insurance, food stamp, or even a regular job for an average woman.
Here are some details of citizens who need help:
1: This young lady is Bakhtawar. She is 20 years old and has tow sons. Bakhtawar lost her husband to airstrike in her village. She came to Farah city to keep her children safe. Bakhtawar need help with food and winter supplies.
