Hello Everyone, I need your help PLEASE , A few weeks ago, i accidentally cut my finger tip ( right hand index finger) with a blender while i was using the blender. The injury is on my index finger on my right hand . My roommate took me to the hospital where they gave me the first aid and bandages and prescribed me some pain relievers for the pain.
I don’t have any Health insurance because i immigrated to the United States 2 years ago from West Africa. The doctor at the hospital told me that i need to see an Hand and Peripheral nerve surgeon in Washington dc area. I saw the doctor and he said that i need to do a surgery As soon as possible , where he will have to do a skin graft (meaning cut another part of my hand and refill my finger tip).
I also don’t have a primary doctor , I really really need your help to pay for the surgery . I am so in pain but thank God the pain relievers are helping with pain.With the laceration of my index finger on my right hand , i even cannot eat properly because i am a right handed , my roommate is helping me take a shower , personal care. Unfortunately i cannot work too because i used to work monday thru Sunday doing babysitting as part time and dishwashing at a restaurant full time to pay my bills and rent etc…. And the doctor said that my recovery will take at least 6 months for the scares of the surgery to heal and i will have to do some therapy to learn how to use my index finger again ( feeling and touch ) .
My family is back home in my country in Africa and i don’t have any family or anybody that can help me pay my medical bills . The surgery is scheduled for Friday September 21 at the inova hospital and i will be needing to pay the medical bills to hospital before the surgery.
This is an Urgent need and any amount you are able to contribute to help me is Deeply APPRECIATED.
