Hi , our names are Yusuf and Sophie. We are school students. We have visited the Nazi death camp , Auschwitz-Birkenau in September 2016 as part of group of 200 Scottish high school students.
We then hosted the 2017 Holocaust Memorial Service in Glasgow and delivered a 15 minute speech on our experiences. After this we have gone out and talked to our local community, schools and organisations about our experience and the important lessons we have learned.
Our next step is to visit Rwanda to volunteer over there. However , we are in need of funds for this trip to go ahead and visit Rwanda. While we are in Kigali , Rwanda , we have plan to visit orphanages and schools to volunteer. Also to visit the Genocide Memorial Centre in Kigali to further increase our knowledge.
Any Donation would be much appreciated as this would mean so much for us , to go out and fulfil our charitable work and learn more about the Rwandan Genocide. The money will be used for the travel , food , accommodation and resources for the schools we are visiting.
We are both very enthusiastic and determine and want to make a change in the world, however small it is!
