At any given time in the United States there are 15,000 to 100,000 perfectly operational network server appliances destined for the scrap heap. These discarded network appliances, paired with open source software can become reliable and affordable technology assets. Refurbished, they can serve a better and much greener purpose that empowers business owners, giving them additional tools for growth and long term business management.
Help local businesses grow, keep viable technology out of landfills!
Refurbish or recycle.
In a Nutshell: I purchase a refurbished name brand server, upgrade the memory if needed, install a secured Linux operating system with some open source software and get a really useful network appliance that ‘works right out of the box’ which I can sell at a very affordable price. This gets ‘fully loaded’ server appliances into the hands of the folks that need it the most, the small to medium-sized business owners.
With your contribution, I have the opportunity to help many more businesses, putting professional software and hardware into the hands of entrepreneurs for very affordable prices, perfectly good for myself and Karma.
Helping local businesses remain viable and growing is good for local and global economy.
Keeping the hardware online and out of a landfill, that’s good for Mother Earth.
