My mother passed away on June 2nd 2009 @ 4:45pm from cancer and she was a very giving lady. To honor her I came up with this idea to become a hero to help others. She was my real life hero so now i am wearing the cape but now I need your help to complete this mission. As the 2016 Halloween season approaches, let us not forget how blessed we are. There is no better way to show gratitude than to give to those that are in need. I am asking you all to support me on a very special project/goal that I feel I must complete.
Last year I approached my coworker with a very special request. I asked her if she could help me collect funds to buy authentic super hero costumes like the one pictured above.
Her immediate response was “why and what for?” I informed her that I wanted to buy these costumes to dress up as a super hero and pay visits to children’s hospitals on Halloween and convalescent homes to make them smile for a day. She responded “Open up a Gofundme account and name it ‘fund a hero.'” I asked her why that name and she told me “because you are.”
I am asking you all to support this project financially for the costumes are pricey and any bit of help is greatly appreciated. Help me prove to these kids, teens, and adults that HEROES do exist and those HEROES are you!
