America’s war veterans have served our country and our people with great dignity and honor, some even paying the ultimate price. Upon return, many are changed men and women. Often times these changes can be emotionally damaging or even life threatening.
Many of our soldiers arrive home and discover that treatment for these disorders are often drugs that mask symptoms, but provide no real solution. Our goal is to provide actual help to our heroes by funding research for Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy.
These treatments include the administration of serotonergic drugs such as Psilocybe, LSD, Mescaline, and even MDMA. While studies show that these treatments can be effective in treating depression and anxiety, the practices are frowned upon by skeptics.
In order to take this treatment program from ‘Taboo’ to acceptable in the eyes of today’s world, we must fund research to provide solid evidence.
