I have experienced two life-threatening illnesses in the last three years with no health insurance. I am now unable to workas I once did, and have burned through all of my savings.
I feel confident, however, that if I can make it past this latest hurdle (my impending eviction), my dog and I will be able to scrape by with what little work I can do.
I still need a new defibrillator implant installed, and I don’t know if I could handle the stress of trying to find a place to live while I’m recovering from that procedure.
