We’re creating a transition house for disabled vets to live in, rent/mortgage free, for a set amount of time on a case-by-case basis.
ANY DISABLED VETERAN IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY I am a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the conflicts of Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm.
Back in the early 90’s, I found it hard to to make the transition. I had the support of friends and family, but they could not understand completely.
I’ve wanted to do something impactful for fellow Veterans for a long, long time, but just couldn’t figure out what would best serve them. I’ve heard countless stories over-the-years of DISABLED WAR VETERANS in need of a hand up, with housing in particular!
We building this fund to create a TRANSITION HOUSE for DISABLED VETS! It will be a place that they can move into for a specific period of time, from ONE-to-FIVE-YEARS, including their spouse and/or their children. It will be fitted with the appropriate, case sensitive, amenities for each recipient’s needs.
The housing will allow them to live MORTGAGE and RENT FREE for the specific time allotted to them when he/she is selected for occupancy. The INTENT is for them to settle into a career, finish an education, trade school, etc…and ultimately get fully onto their own footing for the life ahead.
ANY DISABLED VETERAN, at ANY RATING LEVEL, is eligible to apply, through a minimum donation of $10.00 (TEN DOLLARS). “YOU” can also nominate ANY DISABLED VETERAN with your minimum donation of $10.00 (TEN DOLLARS).
Help spread the word!
It will allow them to get settled into a career, finish a degree, or complete trade school.
