this was the email the teacher sent me about field trip it was sent on sept 28th 2019 and only had 3 days to come up with the first payment of $500 as i couldnt pay the whole amount i was able to work out a deal with the company $130 paid on oct 3rd and the remainder of the $500 by oct 20th as i am on disability i am struggling to get enough to pay the rest any help would be much appreciated wheather its $1 or what ever you can if i cant get the funding for this trip she will lose her ability to go on the trip and it really makes me sad i cant do more
I wanted to take a minute to email you all about the traditional East Coast Trip that we do in 8th grade. Each year, a group of teachers take a group of 8th graders to Washington DC, Philadelphia, and New York City for a week. This year, we’re going April 4th-9th, so spring break. I had a number of you come to the meeting on Curriculum night and have already signed up, so forgive the duplicate email. I have included the itinerary for the trip as well as directions for signing up. We have 21 students signed up so far and the price will drop for every five students added to that number. The trip does end up costing around $2,500 and the first 20% of that, around $500 is due at the end of the week. One of the most frequently asked questions is about fundraising. Because the trip is not school sponsored, I am not allowed to do any fundraising. Parents may organize something on their own or set up a gofundme page, but I cannot organize anything. This is one of the coolest things I’ve ever done, taking a group of kids on the trip and I can’t say enough what an amazing experience it is for your child. i cant express how much this would be a help as i am on disablilty income and cant afford to pay for the trip
