I really appreciate all the attention this is getting on my behalf. I’ve truly never felt so cared about and scared at the same time. I’m a U.S. Army vet that is in trouble and could use your shares and prayers.
The Pic you’ve seen on this page is the result of the hidden abcsess that was deep in my thoracic spine. Had this ruptured, before they found it, I could have become septic and it would have invaded my organs and literally killed me.
They were able to remove it and attack the area with antibiotics. I have been through a 2 month nightmare with this and unfortunately, due to doctor’s incompetence and other misgivings, I’ve had to live through this pain that’s nothing short of indescribable.
Even tho’ I’m home now, Yay, it’s far from over… I must be on a drip antibiotic and a push antibiotic combination for the next 6 weeks. I don’t know when I can go back to work, but I’m struggling with it because I love what I do and need to earn a living again, but to go back as soon as possible is only hopeful. I miss my co-workers and residents where I work, SO much. I truly love what I do in helping senior residents that can no longer care for themselves due to Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s and other neurological disorders, enjoy some quality of life while they still can.
If times are tough and you can’t donate, I understand completely, but please, please share our story. Being out of work for over 2 months is KILLING us financially. We are caregivers… We dedicated our lives to helping the elderly and others over ourselves but unfortunately, it does not pay well. My wonderful wife, Tina and I, have chosen to make other people’s quality of life better at the cost of our own livelihood $$$. Our hospital and medical bills are already over 250,000. I’m responsible for 20% of that as well as keeping a roof over our heads .. So you see the stresses involved.
I promise you, I will pay this forward when I’m back on my feet 10 fold.
