Volunteers 4 Good has been providing assistance to widows since 2003. As Fall begins our requests for assistance are on the rise and we need volunteers to help us raise the necessary funds to meet as many of these requests as possible.
Many widows are on fixed incomes and when extra expenses come in they have trouble making ends meet and as we receive referrals we try to step in with assistance to keep the utilities on and food in the pantry. Over the years we have also used volunteers and volunteer funding to replace a damaged roof for a widow whose insurance company would not renew her insurance with her existing roof.
