Tom has been diagnosed with mesothelioma lung cancer. He will need to travel to Cleveland, OH to receive treatment. Anyone who knows my dad knows that he will do anything to help anyone at anytime. Now is our time to help him.
Tom is a Husband of 50+ years to Joyce, A Father to 4 and a Papa and great Papa. He also is a Brother, an Uncle and an amazing friend. He is an amazing family man. He served in the Navy in Vietnam when he was younger. He has been a refinery worker, a state employee, a crossing guard until he no longer could do it and more.
On top of being stressed about fighting cancer he is also stressed about my Mom being ok. He is no longer able to do many of the things he used to around the house and that takes it toll on him. He has always been there no matter the time or day if you needed help he was there. Now he needs our help to lift the burden of the financial cost of traveling to a specialist for his cancer treatment.
Unfortunately Covid has caused a lot of resources normally available to be suspended for the time being. With that happening, We are hoping to raise some money to help take some of the burden off of the upfront costs of traveling for things like airline flights, rental car, hotel stay and food for both My Dad and Mom.
