Hello, my name is Angelica, and the dog you see in the photo is my medically trained golden doodle. I’m currently in a desperate situation and need your help. I’m leaving my partner and trying to run due to severe domestic violence. My partner was arrested for domestic battery by strangulation and battery on a pregnant woman.
I am trying my hardest to make it financially, but I have to be out of my home within 1 1/2 weeks, and I don’t have the funds to make that happen. He took everything, including all the finances and the car. I just want to be okay and safe. My service dog is crucial for my well-being, so going to a shelter is not an option.
All I need is a small studio apartment and the ability to buy a cheap car to get me from point A to point B. For the past two weeks, I’ve been eating rice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I feel so weak and undernourished. I can’t even afford food for myself.
I don’t know how I’m going to make this happen without the help of very kind people on GoFundMe. I’ve never made a GoFundMe before, and I’m creating this campaign as a last hope. I do work full-time as a manager from home, but without WiFi, I’ve been unable to work. Once I get into a new, safe apartment, I can get WiFi and get back to work.
I’m not someone who typically asks for assistance from strangers or even loved ones. But I genuinely don’t know what else to do. I am so grateful to anyone kind enough to donate and help me secure a safe place where my partner won’t know the location. Your help will allow me to get back on my feet and escape this dangerous situation quickly and safely.
