Hi, my name is Toni Hilton. I am making this go fund me on behalf of my faithful and loving husband of 30 years, Ron. He is the father of 5 with the youngest being 12 years old. He was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer that has metastasized to his bones on October 4th, 2016, while he was hospitalized for an acute case of pneumonia on September 28th, 2016.
This was within days of receiving temporary guardianship of our two adorable grandchildren (22mos. and 10mos old) for one year. Ron’s hospitalization and diagnosis also occurred while we were transitioning from a 3rd floor apt. to a 1st floor apt. that ended up taking a week to complete.

To say the least, our lives were turned upside down with the cancer diagnosis. On October 1st, Ron’s PSA was 692 while normal is between 1 and 4. This is the prostate specific antigen, a cancer marker for prostate cancer. The bone scan indicated cancer throughout his bones, and the doctors said only hormone regulators to stop testosterone production by way of shots or pills and/or surgery of prostate and testicle removal as well as removal of portions of bones would be the only way to ensure the cancer would not spread to other organs or systems.
From that point, pain management would be primary focus. Please note that the costs for the surgeries would be in excess of $200,000. The lifelong side effects would add to that amount greatly. Chemo and radiation are not an option at this point. None of these were options we, as a family, determined would benefit Ron and we chose to think, yet be proactive with what we knew to do immediately.
There were things at home he could start immediately, such as diet changes and the addition of two specific cancer fighting items I had on hand as of October 7th, 2016. The doctor was, and is, in agreement with what we have been doing to help Ron’s body begin to heal itself, which it was designed to do. Here is a synopsis of Ron’s body responding to what he has been doing so far:
October 13th – biopsies performed & a PSA 660 (down)
October 28th – biopsies are positive & a PSA 170 !!!

November 10th – PSA at 22.68 … Glory to GOD!!!

We both feel GOD has given Ron’s healing process an amazing momentum. There are several healing centers we are considering that have an intensive cancer therapy protocol that will prove to “shore up” what has already begun. Insurance does not cover natural or holistic cancer therapy solutions at this time, and is the sole reason for this campaign.
Expenses include, but are not limited to health & nutrition changes regarding food, supplements, herbs, therapeutic services and devices, travel and lodging expenses, as well as medical consultations and treatments. Ron has begun the process of healing. We believe the goal of him living vibrantly and in a state of wellness is by combining all of these treatments and is necessary for him to have the best chance of OVERCOMING CANCER with GOD’s help, and your financial support. Moreover, any place Ron has to travel to will require us to go as a family of 5 that includes our youngest of three children, age 12 , 2 grandbabies and Ron and I. We have no one to leave babies with in the area and our parents and other family members are not able to to care for them.
Our family loves and cherishes Ron more than you can imagine. Your financial support will give us the ability to make choices that will increase Ron’s chances dramatically, which couldn’t be done otherwise.
